The Project will send a small team of 3 or 4 volunteers to Namugongo, Uganda in February 2002. That team has three objectives:
- Construct Teacher Housing - The much-needed housing will allow the high school to recruit and retain qualified teachers.
- Equip Computer Lab
- Using donations of used equipment from companies and schools, the
computer will facilitate computer literacy education. It will also
allow the Namugongo students to connect with people throughout the
country and around the world by email and through the creation of web
pages.
- Teaching - Volunteer teachers will teach English, Computer Science, Math, and Health classes to high school students.
To get the program started, we urgently need your tax-deductible contributions of cash and suitable computer equipment.
